Grade 2 Students Learn and Write About Fire Safety at Cahill Elementary

After returning to class, they practiced their writing skills by turning a fire safety tip they learned into a sentence. Each student carefully sounded out the words, helping them spell and strengthen their writing skills while reinforcing important fire safety lessons.

Cahill was full of energy and creativity at this year’s “Cahill’s Got Talent” show! Thanks to the PTA’s support, students had the opportunity to share their unique talents—from singing and dancing, to magic tricks, to impressive piano and violin performances. Students in Erika Warren’s class teamed up with Assistant Principal Tricia Pipitone and Principal Laura Cahill for a hands-on pumpkin carving lesson. One group created a cheerful “happy pumpkin,” while the other designed a “scary, silly pumpkin.”
