Adopt-a-Student Makes a Difference for Families In-Need

Before Winter Break, families were invited to pick up gifts at school, or Principal Giangreco personally delivered them. “I just want to ensure that all our students have gifts to open this holiday season,” Giangreco said. She also shared how proud she is to work in a school community filled with such thoughtful, caring, and generous educators who consistently support their students and families.

The spirit of giving is alive and well at Grant D. Morse Elementary School, where teachers came together to support school families through an Adopt-A-Student gift drive. Principal Kristina Giangreco worked alongside the school’s social worker, nurse, and psychologist to identify families in need. Teachers and staff selected gifts from an anonymous list and purchased items to help ensure every student felt remembered this season.
