Students dove into the world of weaving, learning cool terms like warp, weft, and roving, and even got to try their hand at the loom, creating a tree on a tapestry rug! Each student worked on the collaborative project, first by having some students sketch a tree as a cartoon image and using it as a guide behind the loom. They also learned where wool comes from and how it’s spun into all kinds of creations—from clothing to rugs and pouches!
