GDM Principal Presents at State Conference

During the 2020–2021 school year, as schools were navigating the shift from remote to hybrid learning, Giangreco saw an opportunity to rethink what college and career readiness could look like for our youngest students. From that vision came the idea of an Elementary Career Fair—a virtual event that connected local professionals with students through live Zoom sessions.

The response from our community was incredible. Volunteers from a wide range of careers shared their stories, answered questions, and helped students see how their interests could grow into future opportunities.

Giangreco’s work not only strengthened connections between our schools and the community, but also sparked a model that other districts are now eager to adopt.

We’re proud of her leadership and her commitment to helping every student imagine their future—starting in elementary school.
