Students proudly walked in alongside family members who have served, while the American Legion Color Guard Post 72 led the presentation of colors. Grade 4 students filled the room with patriotic songs, and Grade 2 students showed their appreciation by hand-delivering homemade poppies to our honored guests.
Principal Kristina Giangreco shared words of gratitude, the importance of serving others, and sacrifice, tying into the November word of the month: empathy. We’re grateful for this special gathering that helped our students connect with our veterans’ legacy of courage and compassion.
