Riccardi Elementary’s Harvest Hustle was a blast!
But the real treat was watching the top fundraisers smash whipped cream pies into the faces of their favorite adults! We’re pretty sure some whipped cream smiles will be hanging around until next year’s Harvest Hustle. Thanks to all the students, families, and PTA volunteers for making it happen!

Observed every November 13, World Kindness Day reminds us to put compassion front and center in our daily lives. This day brings people together worldwide to spotlight simple acts of kindness and build a culture of empathy.

Our Kindergarten and Grade 1 students recently got hands-on with all things apples! They counted apples, weighed them, and colored tasty apple pie worksheets.

Grade 1 students in Mrs. Maday’s class at Riccardi Elementary School were hot on the trail of a mystery about the Sun! As part of their Mystery Science lesson, these young scientists are tracking shadows, observing the Sun, and discovering patterns that change throughout the day and across the seasons.

Students in Riccardi Elementary School recently took a special moment to honor Warren Whitaker of Blue Mountain, a local Navy Veteran selected for the next Hudson Valley Honor Flight.
