Boston MacDonald is our next Student Voice

Hello my name is Boston MacDonald and I was recently inducted into the inaugural Saugerties Chapter of the New York state Business & Marketing Honor Society. Being inducted into the Saugerties Chapter is truly an incredible honor. As a student in Saugerties, being part of the very first group to receive this recognition makes the moment even more meaningful. It represents not only academic achievement, but also dedication, leadership, and a commitment to excellence in business education.

What makes this induction especially significant is that it marks the beginning of a new tradition. Being the first class inducted sets the standard for future members and establishes a legacy that will continue to grow for years to come. It is inspiring to know that we are helping shape something that will benefit students long after we graduate. Students should look forward to making an impact on the world and, hopefully, someday returning to speak at a future ceremony. This honor also brings me one step closer to achieving my personal goal of majoring in finance in college and eventually earning my MBA, as it strengthens my foundation in business knowledge and leadership.

I am sincerely grateful to my business program teachers, Mr. Cooper and Ms. Stinemire, for their guidance, encouragement, and hard work in making this opportunity possible. Their dedication to their students and their belief in our potential have made a lasting impact. Thank you for your leadership and for creating this milestone achievement not only for me but for our school and community.
