Daniel Valk was a motorcycle enthusiast who graduated from Saugerties High School in 2015.
A Memorial Ride is scheduled for Saturday, October 28, at 10am, at the Mobil Gas Station, at 333 NY 212, Saugerties (across from Saugerties CVS). Registration will be available prior to the ride and will cost $25 for motorcycle riders and $20 for passengers. All others $25. Donuts and coffee will be served for free. Kickstands up at 11am.
Cars and trucks cannot follow the motorcade for safety reasons, but can meet up with us for lunch at The Maple on the Lake, 141 Warners Lake Road, East Berne, NY 12059. Pizza will be served for free. The 170 mile motorcycle ride, will travel through Saugerties, Cairo, Middleburgh, Berne, Guilderland, Hudson, Catskill, and back to Saugerties. The fall foliage is expected to be in full peak. The views will be spectacular from Thacher Park!
Please let your family and friends know about this event. The money raised will allow our homeless students and their families to eat a holiday dinner and dessert. Students will also receive a gift certificate to Target.
