Fall 2026 Sports Tryout Information
Before participating in tryouts or practices, students must:
• Be registered for the sport
• Have a current physical on file
• Be approved to participate
Registration and season start dates:
Varsity Football: Registration opens July 17; season begins Aug. 17
Varsity and JV Sports: Registration opens July 24; seasons begin Aug. 24
Modified Sports: Registration opens Aug. 3; start dates vary by sport.
Please note: Registration is only available during designated registration periods.

At the June 9 Board of Education meeting, Saugerties Central School District recognized four teachers who were granted tenure, marking an important milestone in their professional careers and continued service to students.

During the June 9 Board of Education meeting, the District had the privilege of honoring and celebrating the careers of several individuals who are retiring from Saugerties Central School District. The group included teachers, teaching assistants, secretary, monitor, social worker, and the District Treasurer, each of whom has made a meaningful difference in the lives of students across the district.
