The Moving-Up Ceremony featured meaningful remarks from this years Valedictorian Amy Hoyt and Salutatorian Palak Patel as well as, Student Team Speakers Kylie Agar, Gianna Mertens, David Wolff, Humayun Ayaz and Ella Maxwell.
Junior High Academic Awards were also announced along with the five recipients of SUNY Ulster's President’s Challenge Scholarship awards (not all photographed). The President's Challenge Scholarship is awarded to select first-generation college bound students in Ulster County. Scholarship recipients, identified in Grade 8 by the sponsoring school district, receive mentoring and college readiness preparation through the completion of High School. Upon graduation, students attend SUNY Ulster tuition-free for two years. Congratulations to the Class of 2027!
