Saugerties Science Olympiad B Team Soars to Success!
The Science Olympiad Division B Mid-Hudson Regional Tournament was held on Saturday, March 1, at Monroe-Woodbury Middle School, and our Saugerties Jr. High Science Olympiad Team had an incredible showing!
Our team placed 2nd overall in the Regional Tournament!
Medals were earned in 10 events:
1st Place - Anatomy and Physiology
1st Place - Crime Busters
2nd Place - Disease Detectives
2nd Place - Entomology
3rd Place - Helicopter (Engineering Build Event)
3rd Place - Microbe Mission
2nd Place - Fossils
1st Place - Optics
2nd Place - Reach for the Stars
3rd Place - Tower (Engineering Build Event)

The Junior High Student Government will host a Brooks BBQ Fundraiser on Thursday, October 16, 2025, during Jr./Sr. High Parent-Teacher Conference night.
