Saugerties Students Shine in Patriotism Essay Contest!
Both students participated in the annual Elks Americanism Essay Contest, earning $100 each for their thoughtful reflections. The Saugerties Elks selected Ethan and Yousef’s essays to represent our community, and now they’re in the running at the State level, with winners set to be announced at the end of the month!

Yousef dedicated three hours to writing his essay.
Ethan spent a week crafting his submission, writing on and off.

On June 13, our Grade 8 students at Saugerties Junior High School celebrated their promotion to Grade 9 with a heartfelt Moving-Up Ceremony!
