Sawyer Pride Shines at the Annual Mum Bowl

The win was the highlight of a week filled with celebration, including a high-energy pep rally honoring all fall athletes.

On the field, the Sawyers delivered an outstanding team performance:

  • Michael Gramoglia completed 8 of 12 passes for 175 yards and 2 touchdowns.

  • Shyree Laney had 3 catches for 89 yards and 2 touchdowns, and added 105 rushing yards and another rushing touchdown on 4 carries.

  • Landon MacDougall contributed 32 rushing yards and a touchdown on 3 carries.

  • Gabe Valles rushed 12 times for 108 yards and a touchdown.

  • On defense, Boston MacDonald recorded 5 tackles and an interception, while Marcus Vasquez added 2.5 sacks.

During halftime, the school crowned the new Mum Queen and her Court — congratulations to Court members Lesly Lopez Perez and Ella O’Donnell, and to our 2025 Mum Queen, Livia Fyffe!

Before and during the game, the campus buzzed with excitement. During the game, the stands were a sea of pink as the community came together to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The evening concluded with the Mum Ball, the school’s annual fall dance.

It was a week full of Sawyer pride, teamwork, and community spirit.
