The racers had spent the last several weeks researching, designing, and creating a dragster car according to Pitsco Challenge specifications. Using a single trigger, they then launched two vehicles down the track and across the finish line. The students learned about aerodynamics, thrust, friction, Newton’s laws of motion, competition, and the physics of material science. Fun. Exhilaration. Adrenaline. Victory. Defeat.
